Ohio Hill Country

Updated: Feb 19, 2020

July 12 Day 41 104 miles

The weather has been blissfully cooler, topping out at about 80, and with less humidity as the day wore on. We were joined by a group of Michael's friends on the ride, which kept him busy all day.

By afternoon, we were riding through rolling hills, much like Missouri, and the last 20 miles of the day were challenging.

We are spending the night in Wooster, Ohio, a pleasant little city with a brewpub, nice bike store and at least one good restaurant where we had dinner.

We start the day out with a group of Michael's friends.

We ride on smaller country roads most of the day, which shows off the best that Ohio has to offer.

This included a couple of small towns along the way such as Frederick town and Haysville.

And sometimes we found the unexpected..

Someone took a photo of the Three Amigos today at the 3000 mile mark.

It's hard to tell from this photo, but this is a 'get out of the saddle' hill climb at the end of the day.

Wooster is a pretty little city with charm and pride. I enjoyed the brief stay here.

I discovered this sign on the back of a building in Wooster.
